Trying for a baby

Hello, I've currently come off my contraceptive pill about 2 months ago. Ive just had my first proper period since coming off it. Me and my partner are trying for a baby. Im on folic acid and I have my ovulation day coming up next friday. Anyone else been in my position? If so how long can it take to conceive? Doing everything possible to make it happen. Thank you xx

I'm 21. My husband and I decided to try for a baby in March. My doctor told me I had pcos since my periods were irregular and I would go months without one, I was concerned I wouldn't conceive quickly or at all. I got off the pill in January I believe, had a period and we had a lot of sex around the beginning of March, when I was ovulating. I am now 16 weeks 5 days :) don't stress. It can happen a lot sooner then you think. Just have fun with it, take a trip during your ovulation time. Get away, relax, have sex. If it doesn't happen right away DO NOT feel discouraged. It was quick for me, but just getting off birth control your hormones are high which is a plus. My doctor said that is probably what helped us conceive so quickly. Good luck! :)

Don't stress and have fun. If u stress over everything it seems to take longer. Just think positive and have fun and when it's meant to happen it will. But with both my boys I was off the pill for a month and got pregnant.
