Twins or Early Ovulation??

Hello!  As of today, I am exactly 4 weeks pregnant.  However, I tested last Thursday (3.3 weeks) with 2 different tests & all came out positive!!!  I am extremely excited!  I am confused, though, as I have never shown up positive this early on a HPT.  Could it be twins or could I just have ovulated early in the month & be farther along than I'm thinking??  No symptoms yet expect some breast tenderness & exhaustion...I know with my 2nd child (my daughter who is 10 months old), I found out at 5.2 weeks along & the dr had to send me for bloodwork bc my hcg level was so low.  Just doesnt make any sense...however, like every baby, every pregnancy is different :)  Thank you for all comments!!  PS..I have my 1st prenatal appt scheduled for June 29th (which is when I would be 8 weeks along if all is correct, so I plan on asking them to check for twins).

I got my very positive test back earlier then normal. I normally get one early but this time was very early. I too thought maybe twins but turns out just one baby. I've heard from a lot of women that and early HPT isn't a sign at all of multiples. Most of them only got a weak result early on. Definitely have it checked tho. Keep us posted! :)

I m/c on Christmas and was testing as I had negative hCG 2 days later. Based on my ultrasound I tested positive at 3 weeks 3 days and I'm having one healthy baby! There were two gestational sacs on the first ultrasound I was only 5 weeks so we couldn't see anything else, a week later there was one baby with a heartbeat. I'm 21 weeks now :)
