Having twins on your father's side, or any male blood related to you does not increase your chances. Having a boyfriend/husband who has twins on his side also does not increase your chances. Only the woman blood related to you matters. It's the woman's body that releases 2 eggs or decides to split the egg thay matters. Also, as in my situation, I have twin cousins, however the father is my mother's brother...because the twins' mother is not blood related to me, I do not have an increased chance of twins. If your mother was a twin, yes, you have a slightly higher chance of having them.
My mom has twin sisters, I have twin uncles on my dads side, and my boyfriend has twin cousins. I thought I had a chance of having twins but didn't with 1st pregnancy and not with 2nd either. Lol but maybe since your mom is a twin things might be different.
It's always a possibility because genetics only explains a small percentage of why someone would conceive twins.
So if there's twins on your mom's side then there is a chance but not a guarantee. And no, there aren't specific symptoms for twins either.
Twins on your father's side doesn't really matter so much. It matters more if you have twins on your mother's side.
Yes their is a chance I believe.. My friend has twins and only her husband has twins on his side.. So theirs a posibilty since you have twins on both sides
