UK mums - scan question

I've had my first and second scans and am pretty sure that's it now, did you get anymore after the 20 week one? Would you recommend getting a 3D one and if so how much does it cost or do the NHS fund it? I want some more pictures of my little one before he's born :(

You only get two unless your high risk or they suspect somethings wrong or along those lines. Alot of hospitals do like training ultrasound techs and ask for volunteers, i saw loads of ads up last time i was pregnant. I didnt have a 3d scan i dont regret it. Only reason i would have one this time round is to determine the sex sooner as that kills me not knowing.

I got 4 pics included but you can buy as many as you like, they do loads  for you to choose from, and rather than asking your midwife your best off Googling 3D scan clinics in your area, there private not NHS based so your midwife properly wont have much info

Ah thank you, and good luck with the scan (: it is silly that they stop scans halfway through as anything could happen after 20 weeks but at least there is other options, they're just expensive

Ive got a 3d scan on the 14th and I think I get 4 pictures but if we want more it costs more you can get a dvd which is costing bout £70, you'd think you'd have more scans really I think it *****. Im having another at 34wks as my placenta is blocking the exit hole but ive not been measured ir anything yet as my midwife doesn't start till next month

Yeah, i don't think i can go another 16 weeks not seeing him, already that thought worries me that something might go wrong even though i feel him move. The 2 scan pictures we got from both scans aren't great because he doesn't like being in a good position to get a really good picture so hopefully if we go for this we can get a better one (:
Can they not measure you and estimate how big he might be?
