UPDATE on second opinion Ultra Sound! Ladies always go for a second opinion. This is a miracle ladies
remember how i posted that my doctor told me on monday that my uterine lining was thin and had not gotten thicker since my last check up on the 11th July 09 and that he saw two areas he wasnt sure was blood or sacs! remember how he said am going to miscarry in a few week??!! WELLLLLL, I went and saw another doctor yesterday for a second opinion. This doctor was very professional, had all the latest hi tech equipment, the works. i gave him the story my previous dcotor gave me. he did an internal ultra sound annnnddddddd, there was my lil sac!!!! feotal pole and all! it measured 6 wks 5 days and my due date is march 11th 09! one day after my youngest son 2nd birthday! he did saw however that i ovulated late in my cycle and as i get further along in my pregnancy my due date my change to further in march. am soooooo excited, relieved, happy omg words cannot explain! i bursted out bawling when he showed me the sac! i also had my best fren there just incase i was about to heat bad news! oh btw, doc only found one sac, not sure what that other area my other doc saw was. but yippppeee am styl preggo! oh! my doc suggested d&c on monday, but am sooo glad i decided to get that second opinion first! ladies please! always go for a second opinion! i could have aborted my lil bean and not know it.
Congras...I do believe in 2nd and 3rd opinions:-) I am going to another OB cause of a 2nd opinion:-) I believe in my heart that HE is going to be the right one to get me on track to TTC. I go for my follow up on August 3rd to discuss the meds...Wish me luck and Congras again and again:-)
i have a follow up on the 4th of aug. feels like forever even thoe its a little less than two weeks away! ohh the torture! ;)
Second opinions are always a good idea no matter what. My ob said she "couldn't find the cranium". So I went to a specialist, and sure enough (of course) my baby boy had a head! He's a happy 1 year old now, and is most definitely not walking around with just a neck. Doctors, no matter how much they deny it, can be wrong!!
I had a natural miscarriage and I can tell you that your body knows 100% what its doing, I would not have signed up for a D&C either unless I would have gotten the same answer from several doctors. You did well :)
What did I tell you girl... I had this feeling that everything would turned out ok... I will continue to keep you in my prayers!
so glad to hear you got a 2nd opinion. Too many women (and men) fall into the "white-coat trust" trap, meaning that any doctor opinion we take as the gospel! Important to remember they are human and make mistakes so 2nd opinons are good ideas no matter WHAT the experience!!!!

Oh, I am so glad. I knew somehting was off....esp when he was judging things with you so early on. Samething happened to my SIL...they told her they didnt see anyting, wanted her to have a d&c. MY mil who is an RN told her to wait a couple weeks and see someone else. Low and behold.....there was the little heartbeat...my nephew would have been taken away if she had not waited and gone to another doctor. He is now a happy healthy 2 year old!
