Water break? Contractions?

So I'm due in 9 days and I been wondering how does it feel for your water to break? I have been having to use the restroom almost 20 times a day if not more and I be thinking what if it breaks while I am using the restroom or taking a shower. Will I know? Also do most people water break before they start having real contractions? Do you really know the difference in Braxton contractions and your baby is coming contractions? Sorry it's my first child so I just wanna know and be prepared.

You will definitely know the difference it is a big gush has if a water balloon is breaking. Or it could leak and in which case it is a steady flow of water. Like the other ladies said sometimes it was break sometimes they will break it. But you will definitely know.

Its feel like a poping sensation.. if it completely ruptures. If it leakes idk feeling, mines have always gushed lol.

My water didn't break until I was 8cm and even then it was on accident when the nurse was checking my cervix. And I definitely knew the difference between Braxton hicks and the real deal. For me the real contractions took my breath away and hurt so bad I couldn't breathe in. I could only keep breathing out. Good luck! And if you can I would hold out on getting the epidural as long as possible, I started labor at 10pm and was dilated to 8 by 230 am that's when I got my epidural and it slowed me down so much i didn't dilate to 10 until 7am.

thr doc had to brack my water cause i was in labor how the doc told me i would know is you can fall asleep with braxton hicks it might be a lil hard but you fall asleep but when ur in labor every way is uncomfortable and you just cant sleep
