No, Baby isn't here yet!!

Sometimes I wish I hadn't told anyone my exact due date:  now that it's fast approaching, we're getting all these calls (my dad has called twice in the last 2 days!) or when we call someone, they automatically assume that we're calling to tell them that the baby is here.

I should have learned my lesson from the last time because I did find that a bit frustrating (don't get me wrong....I'm so thankful that people care, but when you're late as I was the last time, it did get a bit tedious).  Eventually, I started screening our calls - which resulted in a lot of messages along the lines of "ooooh, you're not there - maybe you're at the hospital?!"  ;-)

Ah well.....not long now!!!

Is he here yet? Is he here yet? LOL just kidding!! I had the same issue as you did with my last son, every time I called my dad he always asked if it was time yet, because he assumed the responsibility of watching my older 2 boys, it got quite frustrating thats for sure.

Now that I am possibly expecting again...I dont think I will tell anyone until it becomes to obvious to hide ;)

LOL I understand why you feel that way... we told everyone my due date so when they called the day after due date (due date was 9/22 and I went into early labor on 9/22...so everyone called on 9/23 when I was delivering to see if she had arrived on her due date) and they were all like "is she here yet??" my husband replied, more than once, "in about half an hour, call back!"

keep us updated...so happy that you're almost holding the little one!!!!
