So i got to the hospital at 530am. Got pitocin at 7am at 2cm. I ended up getting the epidural around 11. At 130 i was 5cm. I was 10cm by 145 and my gorgeous baby girl was born at 1:50 :). 7lbs 1.5oz 20"long. Thanks everyone for the advice. It helped a lot!!!

Just remember no one is in labour forever :) and you get to meet your baby!! And yes please update! I was induced with my last pregnancy but i had cervadil inserted first then the next day they started me on pitocin... i did get an epideral and it was heaven! i ended in a csection as a last resort but everything was totally worth it!!

Do you know the sex of the baby? how far along are you? Have you started to dialate on your own at all? I am sooo excited for you! Congrats and heres to a smooth quick delivery!!

yes...ask for an epidural...don't be brave.
Good luck, it's a very exciting time!

btw, i had my induction at midnight  (petocin) and my contractions started at 6 am.  my daughter was born around 9 a.m. so for me it went fast..so fast infact, that the nurses didn't believe me and when they finally checked I was 9 cm dialllated so that's when I got my epidural..totally worth it.

good luck again.

Relax, trust your body,  and enjoy it.. Even if you have 20 kids,  each birth is a once in a lifetime miracle.  Good luck!

Don't expect things to move quickly, the more anxious you are the slower it seems to move. Imagine your cervix opening further and further every time you contract that helped me. I wasn't induced but I had petocin which is probably what they'll do with you. They also broke my water at about four cm. Don't be stressed if they put oxygen on you or if your babys heart rate slows a bit. They'll have you lay on your left side, and If its serious the Dr will tell you. This will be one of the best days of your life and take advantage of the nurses :) sleep as much as you can!! Good luck and I'm sure you'll do great!!!!
