Oh okay. Thanks ladies!! :D
My mom got online and looked up birthing plan check lists and printed me one off and it had all the things on it that the hospital and your Dr will want to know. It was really helpful and i just checked all the things i thought i might need or want.
I never made one cuz u never really know how things will go best u can do is have a guideline of how ud like things. U dont actually have to write anything out
There was a template in my book from my doctor.
It includes:
Your preferences for movement and ability to eat and drink through the process.
Who will be in the room with you.
Anesthesia preferences.
Who cuts the cord.
If you want baby placed on your chest after birth.
Whether you want to breastfeed immediately.
Who you want with in the event of an emergency section.
Who you want to hold baby if you can't.
Who goes with baby to nursery, if anyone.
And baby care plan as well. So what you will allow nursery staff to give baby if needed (sugar water, pacifier, etc.), circumcision, where baby stays. And other options as well.
I would look up a template online. There is a lot of information you could include.
I never had a birth plan but you tell your Dr how you would like for your labor to go. Such as how many people you want in the room, epidural, natural or csection, pain meds...things like that. You can have a birth plan but when you're in labor things can change fast so keep an open mind.
i also wanted to knoe !! ftm
