What happens when you go off the b/c pill?

Question

Just curious as to what has happened to those of you when you went off the birth control pill.... Did you lose/gain weight?  Feel like **** or felt good?  Anything.........

I was on bcp for 3 years strait (I took Levlite, a low-dose bcp) and didn't really feel much different after stopping them. My periods remained regular; they weren't as to-the-minute as they were on the pill, but always within 24 hours of when I expected them. They lasted a day or so longer than being on the pill and were slightly heavier, but that's about the only difference. I had less headaches when I went off the pill and actually felt better overall. I quit my pill June 3rd after being on it straight for 12 years.  My cycle started exactly on July 3rd.  I felt good after stopping.  I did have the same affects and feelings like the pill gave me but it got better.  I did lose weight.  Weird thing is for me is yesterday I spotted all day and it is almost gone today.  I'm not supposed to start officially until Thursday.  I guess that means I'm spotting.

I really didnt notice any changes when i went off bc.  But i had been on it almost 7 years straight and got preg.  the month after i went off it.

i think i def gained some weight, which is weird. i would say like 5 lbs almost immediately. i spotted after ovulation until af for a couple months too. my period was very reg right away and has stayed regular for the most part. i had a lot of preg symptoms for the first few months, so it *****. i thought i was prego all the time and wasn't. it took my body prob 4 months to get all the the bc out of my system, i was on it for 12 years though. other than feeling like i could be prego, i was fine. a little nausea for a while, but nothing too bothersome.
