What is the best birth control??
I am 23w4d and I am having a healthy boy. (: But I do want some form of effective birth control after he is born to make sure I dont get pregnant again for a few years. What, in your opinion, is my bestt option. I dont wanna have periods and I know there are some types of BC that stop periods.

I had implanon its a stick the size of a match that is placed in your upper inner arm. It last for 3 years very effective and I had no periods what so ever I definitely plan on getting back on it as long as its one I can breastfeed while on....still have to check on that
There are risks with every birth control so it scares me. Mostly the mirena IUD or whatever cause it could cause ectopic pregnancies.
Definitely discuss it with your doctor. Once its healed I completely forgot about it. It was definitely very effective...I had unprotected sex all the time with my bf and never got pregnant. After getting it removed it took us about 5 months to get pregnant.
I was thinking about getting that, but ive heard that they arent effective, they always hurt, u get periods on it..... Ive heard alot. But if its worked for you with no periods then they must be rumors. Ill talk about it with my doctor (:
I use the patch, I still have periods but they aren't as bad as when I wasn't on bc
Oh and ive heard people get pregnant on some is that true because i have to wait at least 5yrs before having another because i have an incompetent cervix im 23wks im already having problems
