Thank you ladies :) Now I feel better for gaining weight. I was nervous that I was gaining too much weight. Im barely 23wks and its difficult for me to even walk at times. I feel so weak and heavy. I need to workout :(
I'm 29 weeks tomorrow. I was 103lbs pre pregnancy and have all together gained 20lbs. My doctor told me to slow down on the coke and sweets. Soo I've been walking everyday and have tried to cut out soda. I think I gained so much already because I never got morning sickness and I've literally sat my whole pregnancy. So this last trimester I've been trying to watch what I eat and I try to walk at least a mile everyday. I know I'm going to still gain weight..because my little guy is going to be getting bigger. But hopefully I don't go past 35lbs.
I weighed 105 in october, last I checked at 20 wks I was 134...I'm 38 wks and idk how much I weigh, I haven't looked since 20wks but I was under weight to begin with. I was a size 3 now I'm a size 6 maternity
If you are eating healthy and exercising, weight gain isn't a problem. I have been gaining quickly, but I eat well and walk daily. My doctor said that some women just gain more weight and if I'm being healthy it's not a problem.
I gained 16 pounds my whole pregnancy. Had my daughter at 38+3.
As long as your Dr says it's ok, then it is.
Every body reacts differently to pregnancy.
Not true. The "standard" is to gain anywhere between 20-35lbs. It depends on where you were before pregnancy and your body type. I can tell you that my friend just had her baby last month; she weighed 110 before and gained almost 40lbs. She is very healthy and worked out every day. She had a very healthy daughter. Everyone is different. Ask your Dr about your weight gain because he/she is really the only one who can tell you where you should be.
No you its really not a big deal unless your obese. I've gained 40 lbs..
I weighed 190 when I got pregnant, then lost 7 pounds due to sickness and I've only gained 4 pounds back. I'm 23+2 and go back to the doctor tomorrow to see how my weight is now. As long as baby is growing fine, doctor hasn't seemed worried.
