What should I do?!

Okay, I don't know if I'm pregnant yet. I'll be testing tomorrow *fingers crossed that my tests are here* If not, I should be at least by Wednesday. Anyways, I used to be a smoker. I'm craving cigarettes! Just the smell sometimes. But, I actually want just one puff off one. I want to stay healthy whether I'm pregnant or not. I have asthma. I officially start back TTC in July. But if we get pregnant now, that's awesome too. Some days I can't even stand the thought of cigarettes but the next I want to smell and taste the first puff. ARGH! What should I do? How did you TTC Ladies & Mother's stop smoking and STAY off...and fight the cravings? I DONT want to start smoking again but I'm battling a craving! I don't want to try patches and the "gum" they use for quitting either. AHH!

Thank you! Is their ANY gum that I shouldn't chew? Because I will be chewing a lot if I do.
And, yes it's HARD! But, whew, the pufffff!! I wish cigarettes had hands so I could pop them! LOL

First of all, Congrats!!! Quiting is VERY hard to do. Secondly I think you should find things to do, keep busy. I chewed alot of gum when I quit before. Dont give into the "just one puff" way of thinking, cause one puff will lead to two and so on untill you are back to smoking as much as you did before you quit. Stay strong, I know easier said than done. Good luck with your testing tomorrow!! Praying for a BFP for you!!
