babys weight? :)

im 30 weeks 2 days with a baby girl and i went to the doctor today for an ultrasound and she weighs four pounds! :') is this good? im curious to know how much does your baby weigh, how many weeks and gender?:)

Its just estimated....I never believe what they say lol with my son they told me I was having an 8-9 pound baby .....needless to say he was only 5 lbs 13 oz so they were off by 4-5 lbs lol but I'm also running with a different dr this time around

Those scans are not always accurate!! I was told my boy weighed 5lb 9oz at 36 weeks, and was told to expect a 7lb baby, but he was born 5lb 13oz at 39 weeks! Also with my 2nd son i was told he weighed 5lb 7oz ( I had IUGR) at 38 weeks, and yet he weighed 4lb 14oz. So don't really be too concerned.

It's more of an estimation, they say It can be a pound more or less. But even If she was weighing a pound less, she's still at a good weight! She could even be 5 pounds! She's still one healthy lil' one! =-]

That's a big baby for 30 weeks.  I was measuring behind at my last apt at 29 weeks and haven't really been gaining weight which with both of these things am now concerned. So at my next apt ill be 31 weeks and I'm going to ask if he'll please please check him ro make sure he's growing right. So Congrats on the healthy little girl :)

My daughter was about 6lbs 4ozs at 34 weeks.. they told me that was about a pound and a half big for her gestation, and my daughter was 8lbs 12ozs, sounds like you're going to have a healthy little one!! :)

Sounds like a good weight to me! According to this app. , baby should be weighing around 3 pounds, so your baby girl Is gettin' fed good! Lol. I'm 38 weeks but the last time they told me my baby boy's weight was when I was 36 weeks and he was weighing 7 Lbs. 6 Oz.

I would say that's definitely good and healthy. I read on this app the average weight is 3lbs. I'm 30 weeks 4 days and yesterday she weighed 2lbs 15oz which is low birth weight
