Lol I packed the morning of my induction I knew my odds of being overdue. But 33wks is a good time. Im just a lil rebel :)
When's a good time to pack the bad I'm 33 weeks and still haven't packed anything yet
Totally agree with ladybeeley find out what your hospital supplies before you pack with my first I would put my son in an outfit and when they would take him to the nursery he came back in a hospital outfit so my outfits were pointless the going home outfit is the only important clothing in my opinion your personals and your hubby personals are are bout all you need unless your hospital doesn't provide something for baby but are bout gain just check are bout gained see before you pack!
I used the hospital stuff. I took so much with my first and learned it's a waste lol. This time im taking literally a pair of sweat pants, sports bra, loose tshirt, hair scrunchy, chapstick, a newborn outfit and 0-3 month outfit for baby, a pair of shorts, boxers, and shirt for bf. Thats it. The hospital soap is fine considering youre so wobbly you can hardly stand long enough to bathe anyway. I washed my hair the day I went in to be induced and had no plans of washing it while at the hospital. They will give you the proper panties and pads, they have breast pumps and boppies to use if needed. You can request a heated blanket and im not picky about pillows. Hey even supply hospital socks. Baby is kept dressed in white basic onesies while in the nursery and they gave us like 7 swaddle blankets and two hats, some mittens, a package of dialers, a thermometer and suction globe, hell I took my name plate off the door and off my babys nursery bin too lol. Less is better esp when family sends baby wreaths and flowers and you have to make 2-3 trips to and from the car when all you want too do is get baby home. Oh. Your own tooth brush and paste/deoderant.
Like shampoo and conditioner? I know to bring my toothbrush and stuff.
Bring nipple cream for sure, most hospitals do not have the cream. Pack nursing pads just incase you stop somewhere and feel like you need to change them, they should be supplied while you stay at the hospital but best to have them and not need em then need em and not have em. Definitely bring a nursing bra, comfy pjs and hygiene products. My bags are all packed and ready.
I have a list in my journal entries that I'm going by, if you'd like to referance that at all. :)
