Thanks everyone for responding, you all really helped!! :)
It's always a toss up. The darker genes tend to be stronger, but my best friend and her now ex have two kids together. Her son came out white as can be w/ blonde hair and blue eyes, her daughter is total opposite, dark complection, hair and eyes. My best friend is white but tans easily w/ brown eyes and hair. Her ex is mexican tanned skinned brown eyes and brown hair. Her parents both tan easliy and have brown hair, her dad has brown eyes and her mom has green. His parents all have the dark gene too. Somehow her son got the light gene from somewhere down the line. You just never know
Wellllll science lesson.... its not 50/50 with genetics........ Darker genes are usually more dominant, u need a recessive gene from both parents to have blue eyes like urs and because ur fiancee has brown eyes and both his parents have brown eyes there is a 50-75 % chance ur baby will have brown eyes. I'd say that because your parents have medium skin tones then ur baby will too. As for hair colour i'd say it will probably be darker.
Let us all know if we are right!
i have dark hair and skin with brown eyes my fiance is fair skined with brown hair.our daughter has strawberry blonde hair and porcelain skin with blue eyes.i dont think you can really tell xx
I have blonde hair and blue eyes while DH has almost black hair and green eyes. Our son took after me with his hair, eyes, and skin. I think with all genetics, there is a 50./50 chance.
I am very fair skinned with blond hair and blue eyes. Irish girl... :)
My DH is not only Italian but is also Cherokee and Sioux. Dark hair etc... His entire family looks just like him.
Our daughter looks exactly like me... :) So there is no way to determine what the baby is going to look like.. They say the darker genes are dominant but as you can see that is not always the case.
My sister who is fair like me married a Cuban and 2 of her girls look like her and 2 of the girls look just like Daddy. ;)
Darker genes are almost always more dominent. Of course, there are always genetic anomolies, but I would say there is a good chance your baby will have dark hair, and a more olive complexion.
