Im sorry I couldn't be more help lol. I never went into labor on my own, Ive been induced all 3 times and more than likely this time around to. I live about an hour away from the hospital. But good luck and keep us posted if anything happens!
Mama- thanks
Snaggle- yes this is my first baby. i'm just ready to see him and so is my husband. I'm feeling pressure from everyone to hurry up and have him.
Joy- I had contractions that were eight minutes apart for like two days. pain was hard to talk through, but they disappeared right after my doc appointment on Monday. I was 3 cm then and he even stretched my cervix for me. I'm just anxious I guess.
If they go away it isn't the real deal. BH tend to pick up the pace closer to your due date in preparation for birth so it IS a good sign, even if it is annoying. Real contractions will typically require your focus and attention to breathe through; it may be difficult to walk and talk through them.
Hi,
because every womans pregnancy differs so much from one to the next and from each pregnancy to pregnancy with the same woman, it's hard to say what you should/shouldn't be experiencing now. It could be slow labour (the pain then it goes away.) I know how you must be feeling, by the end you just want that baby out any which way. As long as you are still feeling regular movement from babe, just enjoy what little time you have left as best you can, once the baby is here you will get very little time to yourself! Is this your first?

You will know they are real when they don't go away. they are going to get closer and stronger as time passes and nothing you do is going to alleviate the pain from them. As soon as you start having contractions time them since you can literally go at anytime. Good Luck your almost done!!
