The placenta doesn't hurt coming out. It's almost like your water breaking. It's a big warm rush of stuff coming out. It feels weird as heck but doesn't hurt lol.
Omg I keep wondering this too ! Ftm here ! But sorry to add and ask I heard tge worst worst absolute part is when your placenta comes out. That it feels like your guts are coming out, which terrifies me.
I haven't had my baby yet but my sister who has two kids is over and I asked her
She said the contractions were the most painful part because they are so consistent and she labored for 10+ hours with both of her babies. She said compared to labor, delivery seemed like a breeze because she did only about 20 minutes of pushing. She said there is a sense of relief when you finally deliver but with contractions you know they'll be back and they just get stronger.
My best friend had one of her kids without any medications. She said the part that hurts worst is the contractions. She said she didn't even feel pain when the baby was actually coming out. And that it's an instant relief once the baby is born. Like all the pain is gone and you feel like you could jump right out of bed and run forever.. I'm assuming that's probably the adrenaline. Lol. I'm hoping to experience that!
I haven't been there yet but literally everyone says contractions are worse. I've heard it actually feels better to push because you push through the contractions and it stops them
I got the epidural but not until i was 6cm it hurt so bad. Even tho only for about 2 mins each one i felt like i was gonna die! Now the worst part for me is my stitches when i pee it burns so bad
Contractions are worse. They felt like bad period cramps to me, but then they get worse and worse, like your body is tearing apart. Pushing relieves the pain of the contractions so that doesn't really hurt, unless you rip and then it burns, but that's already when the head is coming out.
