My friend was 2 cm dialated for 4 weeks. It's different for everyone. Good luck!

It could be today or past your due date which I'm sure you know. I was 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced and I went into labor at 38weeks 5 days.

I was dilated to 3 and 50% for 3 weeks, and my doctor scraped my membranes twice in that time frame and I never went into labor on my own. I ended up getting induced, but I got induced with my first pregnancy too. Some times it's easier to get a guess from previous pregnancies and if this is your first it's more of a wild guess.

Could be anytime or 2 more weeks. I'm sure you know that though. ;) it's tough to say. Are you getting a lot of contractions yet?
I was 4cm and 70% effaced for almost a month! Then I was 5 1/2cm for a couple of days.  I had her at 36 1/2 weeks. Everyone is different. Some women like me can be almost 6cm and not in full labor and others can be 2cm and go into labor and be in active labor right away. Go for walks and make sure everything is ready for baby. The night before my water broke, I built the crib and changing table, did tons of laundry, and cleaned. I knew it wouldn't be long after that because of the major nesting going on. Lol

Sorry, my niece was dilated to 3 for the longest darn time (like a month) and delivered at term, so unfortunately being dilated to 2 is not a clear sign.  Don't know about the amount effaced (in other words, if that makes everything more likely.)  All you can do is be ready for anything.  :)
