Which was worse, first trimester or third?

Pregnancy isn't easy.  Which trimester was hardest for you (taking out the actual birth which is always hard)? First trimester or the last trimester?

I only had boys,  so when I was pregnant I felt like a rock star once I got over the early nausea.  That extra testosterone you have carrying boys made me feel great.  You know how they say "some women glow when they're pregnant?"  It's probably moms carrying boys.  Besides the very very late pregnancy difficulties of just being big,  pregnancy was pretty good for me.

I had boys but am not sure I absolutely glowed.  ha.  My third trimester was by far my worst especially in my first pregnancy. The intense heart burn, itching skin, inability to eat due to no room so I'd vomit,  that 9th month was LONGGGG.  I had a hard first trimester too with nausea.  But all worth it in the end.

Truthfully, I never heard about moms of boys and testosterone. Interesting.

I had a boy, in my case didn't have much trouble with the pregnancy but it's hard to say it was *because* he was a boy. Later in the pregnancy my bones began to ache, we guessed from calcium leaving them to build the baby's bones. (I was an older mommy, and my family also historically has poor calcium levels in their bones at the best of times.) I did have heartburn in the third trimester, and I recall my knees being pretty sore by my last month because of the added weight.  But I had no morning sickness, and it wasn't even hard to carry the big fat tummy around. Can't claim with any certainty that it was easier because he was a boy, though. :)
