Why I am PT+ for 7 weeks but also having monthly period at the exact date?

Last Jan. I was expecting my period on the 17th but it never came. On the 19th I had an agonizing cramps in my lower right abdomen and lower back. I bleed just like a monthly period do. Then I had spotting for 5 days then bleed again and spotting. This goes on for 2 weeks. On the 24th I went to the dr found out I am pregnant but they couldn't find any sac or fetus. Dr decided it was ectopic pregnancy. I went to another dr for 2nd opinion on the 28th. I was bleeding a lot. Again dr found no sac or fetus and told me it was "missed abortion." Dr. prescribed methergine for 5 days. I had beta HCG and it was going up. I tried doing pregnancy test at home and still positive. They did not have me undergo D&C because my cervix is closed. February came, expected my period on the 28th and it came but all along this month I was checking weekly a home pregnancy test and all came out positive. Never missed one. After 4 days my period stopped. On the 6th day I again do a pregnancy test and still came out positive. My belly is growing. I am still nauseous. I am still having fatigue and lots of gas. Other than that I feel perfect. I am scared of going back to the dr. This confusion is going on for 2 and a half months already. I don't know what to do anymore. Anyone of you experienced the same? Everyone around me is just blank :(

Hi there.  I've heard of this--- bleeding around period time.  It's not actually a period if you are pregnant as periods come after we ovulate and you don't ovulate when pregnant.  But hormones can cause this bleeding.  My sister had this for 4 months in her pregnancy.  You've been to a doctor, you've had tests to confirm pregnancy, and you have symptoms.  All good signs that things are fine.  I know that based on what you are saying, you are almost 8 weeks?  This is a traditional time to see your ob (mine will not see you UNTIL you are 8 weeks)--  they can usually find a heart beat by then.  Obviously we worry about miscarriage when there is bleeding, but the positive test and symptoms are good signs.  So, don't be afraid to see your doctor at that 8 week mark and try not to worry.
