Why haven't I felt any movements?

I'm 17 weeks and my doctor said I should feel movements and kicks by now but I haven't felt anything. Should I be worried?

Eat a big meal and sit in a quite dark room for about 20 minutes.  You might be able to feel little flutter kicks. :)

I didn't really start feeling any movements till I was around 19 weeks & started being able to see them until I was 22 weeks 6 days. Now I'm 37 weeks 2 days with my first baby.

Since they are so tiny at that point it is normal to not feel their kicks. Especially in first time mommies. My doctor told me normally for first time mommies baby kicks aren't really felt till 19-20 weeks.

and remember their first kicks don't feel like kicks it feels like little popcorn or  feels like tiny bubbles popping their first kicks is called quickening almost feels like gas you won't feel the real strong kicks that make your stomach move until way until your second and third trimester I started feeling the really hard kicks around 24 weeks
