Working out??

How long after you have your baby can you start working out?? Like sit ups and stuff in the abdominal area??

They say 6 weeks. But I don't know I started doing my normal stuff after 3 weeks cuz I stopped bleeding and couldn't feel the stitches anymore. And I didn't have any more cramps or anything. Normally they want you to wait til you see your doctor post baby and get the OK from them. Everyone's different though and I got over labor stuff pretty quickly. I personally think it all depends on how you feel and what kind of delivery you have. With csections I know you have to wait longer. My sister had a csection 6 months before I gave birth and she took longer to recover.
