This makes me feel much better. Thanks guys!
There isn't necessarily a certain "number" of times you should feel your baby kick. Every baby Is different, and if that was the case then we would be having thousands of worried mothers visiting er everyday. Babies in utero usually have a routine. Most babies sleep during the day when we're active because our movements sooth them to sleep. Which would make sense as to why we don't feel them much during the day because there more than likely most active when we're sleeping.
Also, if you hear your baby's heart beat every prenatal visit should be a little validation little one is doing fine.
This is my first and I'm 31 weeks. She's definitely moving in there but I still get worried that it's not enough.
I know I was wondering the same thing at first but my doctor told me that babies have a routine since they do have sleep cycles before and after they are born. I notice my son movements occur when I'm sleeping, for example, he's very active early in the morning, late afternoon and late at night. I picked up his routine
10 Times an hour is how often they should move - but you dont neccesarily feel all movements :)
I was told 10 times a day.
I thought it was 10 times every 2 hours?
As long as the baby moves 10 times a day, the baby is fine. Try not to worry! You will defiantly know if something is wrong with him.
He could just be really cosy where he is. My first son was like that. Now he is still a really calm kid. Well, for a two year old. Haha.
My baby girl isn't active a lot at all. I think each baby has there own pattern of kicking and moving there all different. But if ur consered tell ur doctor.
