Mucus plug breaking at 24w

I'm 24w5d and I think my mucus plug just broke, sorry for tmi, but it looked like a snotty string it was clear.. Is this possible ? Please help

mine came out at 30 weeks and i didnt have my son till 39 so it just depends :)

I've been loosing pieces of my.mucous plug for a while now. I'm almost 32 weeks. I went and got checked out but I got the o.k. from my midwife and everything is good. As long as there is no blood or your not having contractions you should be good but you can always call. :) every time I have sex, within 24 hours I loose a piece if it and my midwife said sex is triggering it. Its weird. But your not alone. :)

Yer my mucus plug had blood so hopefully it was just discharge

Yes it is. But it can grow back also, I wouldn't worry unless you start bleeding, contractions. Water breaks
