Uhg No energy!

I so need to finish where I left off lastnight. I have so much laundry I need to get done, and my kids destroyed their bathroom during their baths lastnight. I need to desperatley get up and get that stuff done, I want my house and everything to be clean and prepared for when Conner decides to make his appearance.....whenever that will be.

But I woke up with absolutly no energy. I even got to sleep in lol. I also need to rearrange the boys' playroom. The toys are scattered everywhere and it looks like a mad man robbed us.

I need to reorganize my oldest son's closet...it's a mess. And I need to reorganize my closet, so that I can fit some of Conners things in there. I know what needs to be done....and I really want to do them....but I have no energy.

What did all of you 39 weekers do to get that last bit of energy up to finish things and tie up loose ends?

Mumita...

I would LOVE to be lazy lol. I have OCD really bad so stuff gets to me quickly lol. I have the urge to do this stuff, and there is soooo much I want to do to get ready for Conner, it just seems like no matter how much sleep I get im still tired.

Once the stuff is done that needs to be done I will relax and take it easy. Im usually always doing something, I have never been the type to be able to sit still.

Heck I was back to work after 3 weeks of giving birth to my younger son because I was sooooo bored. Once Conner is here, and even though I will be even more sleep deprived, everything will be easier to do.

Be careful how much tuna you consume. It is high in mercury and my Dr. recommended eating it only 2 - 3 times per month!

Well I went for a few cups of coffee.....I heard you were only allowed Tuna every once in a blue moon when pregnant because of the high levels of mercury. I only eat Tuna once a month, and only allow myself 2 tablespoons of it when I do eat it.

So far I uncluttered all my drawers in the house, moved some stuff from my closet to the garage. Im finishing laundry, I have my comforter and sheets in the wash now. Then I need to figure out what to make for dinner. Then I have to do my nightly chores of sweeping and vaccuming.

I have to still clean the boys' bathroom and my oldest son's closet. I have hubby out back burning old papers and mail.

I thought nesting was having the actual energy to do stuff lol. I have no energy without a boost of coffee, although the urge to do stuff is there, just need help getting motivated lol.

BTS, honestly, leave that for someone else to do.  Right now you are too pregnant and tired to do it by yourself.  Just pretend its a lazy summer afternoon and make yourself some iced tea, lay your bum on the couch and watch some bad lifetime movies until conner decides to be born.  You will not be able to rest much after he's born so take advantage of it and relax while you can.

Don't feel bad ... I'm 13 weeks an I'm SOOOOOO tired.  I read that if you eat tuna it will give you energy when your pregnant.  It works for me.  It sounds like your nesting big time lol.

How old are your kids? Are they too young or small to do the closets themselves or at least help?? =)

I am only 25 weeks and I never have any energy so I am no help there! =(   I go to work, and get through my work day and thats about it!

Good luck!

I never made it to 39 weeks...but i would say just get up and do it...drag yoursellf around the house if you have to...make your kids help you and then when your finished lie back down..youll need the energy when conner does decide to show!! Good luck hun..i hope you feel more energetic soon..oh and try eating something and a nice cold glass of water!!
