Yolk Sac

I am 23 days (IVF Transfer) into my pregnancy.
I went for my first ultra sound and it is twins.
Baby A is 12.77mm and a yolk sac is seen.
Baby B is 10.50mm but they could not see a yolk sac.
My HCG level is 16,918.
Is not being able to see a yolk sac normal/Ok in the first u/s or
is baby B not going to develop? Or will it just show up next u/s??

I would think if you have baby b, (fetal pole) measuring 10.50mm, then there must be a yolk sac, because that would come before the fetal pole.... maybe they just couldn't see it in the u/s?

Hello,

A gestational sac and yolk sac need to be seen, but it is very early.  A follow up scan in a few weeks will be helpful.

Best regards,

This would be my 4th IVF
I also have done 5 IUI.
Twins would mean the world to me
because I would never have to put myself thru
this again.  Many hardships and alot of tears,
and now I'm still holding my breath!
