Your ideal DREAM labor...

So after watching alot of 'a baby story's' ive realized most labors dont go as we all plan. BUT for fun, whats everyones ideal dream labor plan/experience?? Ill start....

IDEALLY, id want NO pitocin. (Ive heard it can have bad effects, but it can also help slow labor if ur laboring too fast) id like NO epidural (slows labor & im afraid i wont be able to feel myself push) im not saying i wont use the epidural tho, its very much an option, just ideally ;) Um, vaginal birth. My worst nightmare is a c section. I dont want a surgery w/ a curtain in my face when my babies born and the problems that can happen with c cection for the bb (like fluid in lungs that naturally get pushed out with vaginal birth) hmm lets see, oh NO apisiotomy (spelling) and last but MOST Important, a HEALTHY baby!!!! If this all sounds very delusional then id probably agree. This is my first baby so all i can hope for is all the above. Well see in about 11 weeks if any of that happens for me. :)

I had one nightmare birth with precipitous labor and then I actually had my ideal labor with my last child =)

My water broke at 2 am, went to the hospital. Contractions didnt start at all until 630 am, got the epidural at 645 bc the anesthesiologist happened to be on the unit. The contractions that I did feel were not painful, they were just like the bh contractions. At 8 am I was fully dilated, and I waited 20 minutes for my mom to get the the hospital. Started pushing at 820 and had her at 823 with no ripping or tearing. No pain what so ever. The only problem was that I was 35 weeks, but she was very healthy 7.1 lbs with no issues. I went home 24 hours later....I would love for the same type of experience this time around.

My miserable labor with baby number one was awful, I dilated 6 cm in 5 minutes (went from 4 to 10) and felt like someone was ripping my entire body apart, and I had a large episiotomy that hurt for 18 months. Did not enjoy that one, and it was no drugs or anything so that is what caused me to opt for the epidural after my very first contraction with baby number 2.

Yeah that's scary, this is my 2nd, so I'm sure chasing a toddler and having a newborn will be stressful at first, but my husband went back to work the weekend after my son was born, so only 2 days after my c-section and I was taking care of my son alone full time, I actually healed REALLY quickly, within a week and a half I was feeling fine. You've already had 3 natural, you are very very unlikely to end up with a c-section!

I think my fear with the section is because I know I won't have the extra help at home afterwards specially since I have three other kids and my family is really no.help at all

I had a c-section, and will likely end up with another for this baby, it's not as bad as it sounds, trust me, BUT ideally, I'd be having a natural birth no meds and no tearing/episiotomy haha!!
