Zoloft while pregnant?

Are any of you ladies taking anything for depression or anxiety? Before I got pregnant I was on 100mg of Zoloft, 4mg of xanax and occasionally Percocet (for anxiety). Once I found out I was expecting (5weeks) I immediately stopped the xanax and Percocet. I still am currently still on the Zoloft but down to 25mg. I wanted to get off by the time I was in my 3rd trimester. Any of you ladies currently taking anything? Did you stop? Plan on stopping? It continuing though your whole pregnancy. I've read the pros and cons but I'm still unsure on what to do.

I stopped all my a.d.d , depression and anxiety pills as soon as i found out i was pregnant. Which effected me so bad i have the most hardest times coping with things cause its not good to stop your meds like that randomly. So now im learning how to deal with all my mental problems without meds and its hard but i hear meds like that are bad for baby. A nurse told me that doctors do prescribed medicine for our kinda problems during pregnancy. But i always denied it.

If your doctor put you on it then there is a very good reason. It will be better for you and baby than more harm. If you every need someone to talk to I'm here!

I was on a whole bunch of sh!t before I got pregnant. Hydrocodone, xanax, Zoloft. More but those are the same as you. I quit it all cold turkey the day I found out, I've been struggling greatly without them but I don't want any of that in my babies system. If getting off Zoloft is what you want then I hope you can do it! Good luck momma

Yeah the doctor said if I stay in it while in the 3rd trimester then they will just have to treat the baby for it once he is born. I just don't wanna feel like a bad mother :/

I was on ciprelex, adivan and trazadone until I found out I am expecting. I have an extreem anxiety disorder and depression as well as a panic disorder that gives me night terrors. I decided to go into therapy over taking the mediction for the sake of my baby. It was a hard decision because I have been on meds since I was a teen. I have a friend who took zoloft through out her pregnancy and her son has autusim. I do not know the does she was on but I do know that his disability is linked to the anti depressents. I choose not to continue taking my medication because I don't want to do anything to harm baby. Your doctor can help you with whatever decision you make. There are medications that are safe to take while pregnant I personally just don't trust them.
