Then quit taking them slowly. I have a friend who is pregnant and addicted to percocet 30's. It took her about a month and a half to stop completely but she just kept taking less and less. She is 14 weeks now and her baby seems to be doing OK. She told her doctor at her first appointment that she was addicted and he has been helping her get off of them. Tell your doctor its what they are there for.

My only fear with just stopping cold turkey is the complications with withdrawl. I have done research on here & have found out that quitting cold turkey is dangerous for baby. Many women havent been able to quit cold turkey successfully with out losing their babies.

First of all stop taking pain killers! If they are not prescribed by your GP (who should be aware that you are pregnant) they are not advised to take during pregnancy. Infact any pregnant woman should not take any kind of drugs during her pregnancy unless prescribed by her doctor. Your addiction, you just have to beat it for the sake of your baby. No other way to go about it.
