Try bouncing on a big exercise ball if you have access to one. I have been doing it every night for the past 4 nights and a little during the day  and I feel like it has brought on more contractions.

When I was at your stage I tried absolutely everything too like the above poster. Its true that if your body isn't ready there's nothing you can do. Just relax, and let nature take its course. If your doctors wanted you to go into labor that fast they'd induce you themselves.

I'm 39 weeks and due in 4 days. I have tried everything to go into labor since week 37. If your body isn't ready for labor then it won't go into labor. The hospital can give you patocin to induce you and that is about all that will force labor. I have tried walking, deep cleaning the house, primrose oil tabs, castor oil, hot baths, etc. Nothing has helped me yet.

I'VE HEARD THAT EATING FRESH PINEAPPLE HELPS SPEED UP THE PROCESS.
