hey,
have you tried skin to skin breast feeding instead of pumping for a little bit. by pumping you are encouraging more milk and at a rate that the baby doesn't control itself. i think i would defer this question to the breast feeding forum here. they are full of information and great tips. perhaps one of the ladies there will be more helpful.
best of luck, i know it hurts but it does get better
Pumping makes it worse because you're telling your body to produce more every two hours. Warm compresses while nursing, when your done nursing put ice packs on afterwards. Take advil as well. Also hot showers, and while your in there massage and hand express. That should help. Also let baby nurse when they are hungry, no pumping in between.
