I delivered vaginal and tore on the inside. I was a lot tighter afterwords. It hurt every time we had sex for like 3 months. Everyone is different though!

Wow, Mine snapped back Amazingly. I did Perineal Massages to prevent tearing and Kegles yo strengthen mine before and after. Its a muscle that has to be worked on constantly.

This is my 3rd pregnancy.

I asked my bf if it was different after our son was born then it had been before... he said he couldn't tell any difference and neither could I. It still feels good... that's what counts... I have a friend who had a severe birth injury with a fourth degree tear and she says she'll never be the same again but what happened to her is very rare. In most cases yeah your body returns to its previous state within a few months after a period of healing.

Honestly I don't think it goes back exactly. Especially if they cut you or you rip but it takes a while for it to get tight again lol honestly speaking.  Everybody is prob different but my son is 5 now I feel normal now. But I'm 7mths preg so ima have to go through it all again.

It probably depends on your body and its different person to person but my sister delivered vaginal and the only thing she said is different is the outside appearance, but only because she tore and needs stitches.
