I'm nineteen. Ftm, and 7 weeks pregnant. I'm lactose and tolerant. So I can't drink milk without getting sick. So how am I suppose to get calcium safely for my baby. Because my teeth are staying to hurt really bad.

Also note that you are at a much higher risk for oral health issues while pregnant. If you have issues getting enough calcium because of lactose intolerance you may want to be extra extra careful.

Same here. My nutritionist said you can take tums. I take sometimes two a day which is airtight. You could take more but i don't want to over do it. One tum is the same as one glass of milk

I do not tolerate lactose well either during pregnancy so I do not drink milk. I drink Lactaid. You should really give it a try! It tastes great and its lactose free, but still has calcium in it. :)

Take a prenatal if your not already on one and ask your doctor if you should take a calcium vitamin too. You probably can look up online other ways to receive calcium besides just vitamins and milk too.
