honestly i had the same situation as well except my belly was hard as a rock growing like crazy and i had missed for 4 months...i had every single sign but morning sickness...down to the stretch marks but i went to the ER for a blood test after many neg preg test..negative as well, this all after a miscarriage i was told i would never have a baby without hormones, literally a month and a half later i found out i was pregnant, this time using a HPT, a very cheap one 97 cents cheap lol, i wasnt when i went to the doctor but because i stopped stressing over it i ended up relazing, it worked wonderfully. im 6 months now and have a healthy baby girl on the way, it may be too early for you to test my friend got neg and two weeks later found out she was preg all along. all depends on how your body produces Hgc. my advice is to retest in two or three weeks, if its still neg thats prob a true neg. and if you wanna get pregnant stop trying....best advice i ever got myself, good luck!

I was supposed to start my period on April 21st and I have not started it yet, the only symptom I am having is that I have sore breasts, but when I took an at home pregnancy test it came back negative. Could I still be pregnant?

I was in the same situation last month. But i then came on withing the week after.
But yet again i am in the same situation, I was due on 2 weeks ago. I took a home pregnancy test and it came back negative. I have heard that the hpt can be wrong. I would suggest going to the doctor to have a blood test, but then again it may be too early to tell.

Hi!
It is possible for a home test to be falsely negative.  I ALWAYS recommend repeating the test.  It is definitely NOT a bad idea to go to your  doctor's office for a test too.

It is quite common for a cycle to be "different" every now and then.  Most of the time this is caused by failure to ovulate at the normal time which can be caused by many things--including stress.

If a woman does not ovulate, she will not have her normal period.  Often in these prolonged cycles, the PMS symptoms are very similar to pregnancy symptoms.

If a patient has normal cycles almost every month with only a rare occassional "off" cycle, I usually don't worry too much.  If it happens frequently though, I usually do some tests to find out why.

Good luck!
