does dexamethasone cause a cycle change in my period? im taking dexamethasone now for NCAH. I am currently going thru alot of symptoms such as super bloated, frequent urination, larger and darker nipple and areola, queasy in the morning, more tired than usual, hungry all the time and some heart burn.

Am i pregnant or is this the dexamethasone

Some of the things you described are indeed side effects from the dexamethasone, but can also mean pregnancy. They can also be a dozen other things, so symptoms alone are not a good base. As SantanL said, have you missed a period? Are you having unprotected sex? If so, pregnancy is always possible. If you've missed a period you should be able to test anytime with first morning urine and get an accurate answer. If not, wait at least two weeks from the last sexual encounter and then take a test with first morning urine. You can also make an appointment with your doctor and request blood work be done which will be more accurate than just a standard urine test.
