and today's topic is.....Treasure Tuesdays! -11/30

Think about something in your life that has made you happy recently. Not something you're grateful for, i.e. "good health" "a nice apartment"...but something that truly just makes you smile. Did your son make bubble hats in the bath tub? Did your daughter giggle hysterically every time you played peek-a-boo with her?

What has made YOU smile in the last few days?

For me it's that yesterday my daughter was dancing around the living room and singing enthusiastically to the Christmas music....even though she doesn't know the words or the tunes. My son was laughing hysterically at her. My kids can always make me smile :).

(p.s. don't worry we're going to do these every week so you don't have to say EVERYthing that makes you happy...so don't worry and just think of something that made you smile recently :-) ).

oh my goodness Audrey you always crack me up...that's too adorable.

Great stories, guys!!! I love how everyone can appreciate the small beautiful things in their lives..it's very important not to be so busy looking at the big picture that we overlook the little things!

Everyone get ready for tomorrow's daily topic......

Wednesday Wisdom!!!!

Share ONE thing that you've learned about TTC, pregnancy, childbirth, or newborns/infants that you did not know. I say one thing because you don't want to use up all your "Wednesday Wisdom" this week and have none for next week ;). I posted a thread similar to this about a year ago and it was a huge hit...so let's swing again and hope we get some responses as funny as the ones we got then!!!

So get ready with your Wednesday Wisdom stories!!! They do not have to be funny, but I want everyone to be honest even if we feel like heels admitting our lack of knowledge ;-). (Example: when I first joined MH I did NOT know that the ovulation/conception window was so small.)

So everyone check back tomorrow for our Wednesday Wisdom!!!

(p.s. there was a lot of drama on the site today and I noticed that a lot of our ladies stayed above it all. I'm very proud of you girls considering how bad those pregnancy hormones can mess with us...so good going being the mature ones...*sniff* I love you guys).

I've been having a pretty rough day today, and I was beginning to think that nothing was really going to happen in my life today to put much of a smile on my face. But I got my moment that gave me the best warm fuzzies I could've hoped for today. :-)
Tuesdays are the day I pick up Trevor from school at dismissal rather than leaving him in afterschool care, and I take him to my grandmother-in-law's house to spend the next few hours with Greydon and her while I finish out my workday.
I got him there today to drop him off, and my GIL asked if I could stay an extra moment so she could take care of something personally. I sat down next to Greydon on the floor, and Trevor sat down next to me. I put my arm around him, and then he piled his big lanky self right into my lap and wrapped his arms around me, and just as he did that, Greydon crawled up into my lap too, stood up, and also wrapped his arms around me.
So there I sat on the floor with both my boys snuggled in my lap, their arms around me and my arms around them, and we all were giggling and Trevor and I were quoting that line from the end of the movie, Disney's Aladdin, where the Genie grabs everyone into a hug and says, "Group hug! Group hug! Hey, mind if I kiss the monkey? (as he kisses Abu...then coughs and hacks out a hairball) Woo! Hairball!"

Greydon was the monkey. Lol.

Kylie has started to reach and inch toward me or DH whenever she see's us, and it's the cutest thing. She'll make noise to try and get our attention and when we look at her she'll smile and toss her head side to side. (DH calls her Ray Charles whenever she does it) She makes me smile everyday by the funny little things she does.

My baby girl is 4 months old today, and she has been rolling for a while now, but very sporatically...well, starting yesterday everytime I tried to lay her down for a nap, including today, she just rolls, rolls, and then rolls some more...When she does it though, she just smiles and laughs..It is the cutest thing I have ever seen..

She is just so adorable and makes me smile....

This morning on the way to an appointment, Elijah was singing "jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock", and last night he curled up with me and fell asleep.

Even when he's being naughty, he can always make me smile!

Watching Joanna smile everytime she is breastfeeding does it for me. It reminds me of why I chose to breastfeed her, and shows me how much she loves it! Priceless!

Last night me and Cole were laying on the floor together, and for like 20 minutes straight he would not stop laughing, every time i rolled over and back he would laugh histarically..  and i would kiss him and he kept sticking is tongue in my mouth and then laughing.. it was just so precious...

Then after he got over the laughing, he figured out how to scream with out being mad, so he just laid there and kept screaming, and it was a high pitch scream lol.. and he went on for about 10 minutes doing that. lol

Evedrything he does makes me smile :)

I love him soo much.. and he his the best treasure!!!!!
