Yea cats are pretty good about picking up where to go :)
I'm 25 weeks and got a 4 week old kitten three weeks ago! She had a few accidents but was very good about her litter box and never has accidents now. We also have an 8 month old cat. My husband changes out their litter box for me. They are very low maintenance. We love our fur babies.
Thanks for the advice I will definitely consider
Ashley, maybe consider like a 1 or 2 year old cat that is already litter trained and not as much of a handful as a kitten since you'll have a baby soon. There are so many cats that need loving homes at the shelters and it's usually the kittens that everyone goes for. I've adopted both kittens and slightly older cats and from experience I can tell you it was easier integrating a little older cat each time. They're still young and playful at 1 or 2 years old but not quite as rambunctious in most cases.
Cool I saw a little black kitten that needed adoption and am highly considering
I just got a kitten a few weeks ago :)
I got a kitten in the begging of my pregnancy. He was the best animal I've ever had. Sadly he passed away after 6 months due to neurological issues.
I haven't gotten another kitten because I'm weeks away from delivery and don't want to be over stressed. At first my kitten was like a baby. He got me up in the middle of the night and all. I don't feel like I can devide my attention very well with a newborn and a kitten. If you feel you can i say go for it! I love kittens lol
We got our third dog when I was 8weeks with my daughter. I'm now 11weeks with my third and we have three dogs and a cat all get lots of attention and I wouldn't say it was any extra work for me. And if you do get a cat just remember you can't change the litter box someone else will have to do while you are pregnant
Awesome I know I won't negelct it once the baby gets here I love cats
nope, but i do have 2 lil' shh head cats and a dog ahaha. i want another dog, but everyone's saying im crazy for that. hahaha
I got my toddlers a puppy for Christmas. Due March 2. I'm the one house training it. I think if you feel like you have time for a pet and won't feel like your neglecting it when baby comes then why not. Our puppy is house training quickly and with having two other kids I know she will still get plenty of attention once the baby is here.
I got a puppy the week before Christmas(: he is a lab mix. He even cuddles up to my belly! I love having him(:
We adopted a dog at Christmas time... We got a huskey mix who's almost 2 that way she was fuy potty trained and she's been a perfect fit into our family so far :)
