I just my my second blood test result back. I went from 2059 to 19,000 in 1 week. My doctors words were "your numbers exploded". Yay for me
Blood is most accurate type of test. Im sorry but symptoms really dont mean anything! Symptoms can be bc of an underlying condition, not pregnancy.
My LMP was Dec 14 too. That would put me at 7.5 weeks as well, but I am actually only 6.5 weeks right now. I suffer from Irregular periods so the date of my LMP is not a sufficent way to calculate my due date. The Dr. had to use my BBT ovulation tracker (which came in handy) to discover that I actually ovulated on January 5 making me 6.5 weeks pregnant. Don't give up hope. if you don't do so already, invest in a BBT thermometer, it truely helped me to understand my body and track ovulation.
We had been trying for a long time, and every month I swear I had every symptom and always had a negative HPT. You are not crazy to think you have all the symptoms, but sometimes we want it soo bad that we can convince our bodies that we have symptoms. It is true that when you know, you know. This time was different for me. I hope it ends up being diffrent for you too!! good luck!! Baby dust your day
Yes a blood beta is always accurate. There are two different blood tests. One looks for the hormone only (and can sometimes be wrong) and the other measures the exact hormone level. Like posted above, symptoms mean next to nothing. If I went by symptoms I would swear I'm pregnant right now and I know I'm not. If the results are under 5, it's not pregnancy.
Symptoms mean nothing since you can have everyone in the book and be pregnant or have none and actually be pregnant. An blood test at this point should be accurate. It will say that anything over a level of 5-10 is a positive and at 8 weeks pregnant you would be in the thousands.
