baby shower advice !!!!!

So my baby shower is next weekend ive settled that the food I want is lasagna, 7 layer salad, chips & fruit with a chocolate fountain.
Do you guys think that's good?? & what food did you have at your baby shower??

There was alot of finger sandwiches at mine, but i would definitely go with the lasagna and all. I didnt get to eat anything at mine until everyone left...

My dad made a watermelon bassinet with tons of.mixed fruit inside, i also had a chocolate fountain, & steak sandwiches and oreos on a stick, and of course my cupcakes and cake

Oh and i had homemade bean dip for.chips and spinach dip with sour dough bread

Sounds like a good start, but not much. My bf & my cousin are both chefs so our families have always eaten well.lol Love your fruit idea, but think you should have another meat & a vegetable just in case people don't eat lasagna or the salad.
At our shower we had: fried wings, sweddish meatballs, cajon sauasage pasta, pasta salad, Garden Salad, white rice, mixed vegetable medley, rolls... for the dessert table we had: a watermelon cut into the Mickey head shape filled with mixed fruits, sugar cookies, rice krispies, pink popcorn, chocolate covered pretzels, & several diff candies/chocolates.

Reading everyones responses sounds like we ate way too well.lol BUT IT WAS ALL DELICIOUS & everyone loved it! ☺
