baby shower for 2nd baby?

This is my second pregnancy and the talk about baby shower is floating around. Im not sure if im suppose to have another one. I heard you only have one for your first or if there is a huge time gap, but i know of people having more than one. Im not sure if i want to have another. I think a small little brunch to celebrate with my close family and my two friends would be nice but im told i should just have another. Im very unsure...what do you ladies think.?

I heard you have one for a boy and one for a girl but not everyone goes by that.

You do what You want it's your baby and your party personally I would have one for each of my babies ftm btw. But as far as gifts go make a registry so that u don't end up with stuff you can reuse from baby no. 1 :)

You can have as many baby showers as you want,  as long as there are people wanting to host them for you.

I think your idea of having a smaller celebration/brunch with smaller gifts is a great idea for a pregnancy after the first.

Me and my fiance discussed something small if we have a boy. I have nobody who is really reliable to throw me one. My first baby shower my mother said she would host it for me then last minute didnt do.anything which left me and my grandmother tryin to throw something together last minute. It was stressful...
