nothing with high fructose corn syrup though, some with fruit have that and some don't, The ones with fruit on the bottom, Dannon is actualy not that healthy. The best I think is the greek yogurt but that may be hard to find. I can't get it anywhere around me. It is yummy though!!!
Ad long as at does not have artificial sweeteners in it it is fine. At this age it's preferred to use the whole milk yogurts or at least 2% milk fat. You can also use ones with fruit in it. They make a yo baby one that has fruits and veggies in it and it's made for babies.
The ones with fruit in it that are not made for babies just be careful that the fruit is blended well enough that baby won't choke
So it doesn't have to be the baby yogurt though? As long as I get plain or organic yogurt?
we would buy plain organic yogurt and add fruit or veggie purees for flavor. When my little one wasn't taking a lot of solids yet, we got the whole milk yogurt. Once she started to eat a lot, we switched to low fat organic, because it's easier to find.
what I'm looking for in a yogurt is sugar, not a lot of course, and regular ones usually have high fructose syrup. Also, don't give him the sugar-free ones, they have artificial sweetners. I usually buy a big tub of organic, plain or vanilla yogurt and add my own fruit in a blender. That way, I know what's in there!
