I see a physical therapist for my back, and wouldnt recommend a chiro. physios help you stretch and learn stretches so even when you are done seeing them you can still do them, chiros usually just pop your back or something and youre done until your next appt then they pop you again lol

well I'm gonna probably do the chiro thing come pay day then at my next appt ask about this physio nd something for the pain when it becomes unbearable.
I need to make more room for baby some way or another or she's going to kill me lol

I am going to question that as well. physio? I agree with the other girls that mentioned the chiropractor. I was getting severe back pain, and side pain by my ribs, and my nurse told me to do yoga and go see a chiropractor and have them move some of the joints, to allow release for the baby to move. You so small like me, so there is not much room for baby to go without causing pain for you.

Yeah most maternity wards can put you threw to do free physiotherapy it's a bit like a chiro but is meant to be better for pregnant woman.

Chiropractor!! I had the most unbearable pain from 22 weeks and even now at 34 weeks i still have it often. I begged and begged for relief and i finally was prescribed vicodin and that helps ttemendously but honestly what was better relief than the pain killers was the chiropractor!! I still take pain meds occasionally when even going to the practor doesnt help and being this late in pregnancy it only gets worse cause more problems keep getting added to the reoccuring ones. Anyways, i can completely relate and i am very sorry you are feeling this way. I hope you feel better soon

You can take a warm bath as long as its not over 99 degrees which is normally too uncomfortable to get into anyways because its too hot

Well nothing.. No meds No heating pads nothing helped me... Before 28wks i use to put small leveled pillow under my back n my legs not straight but folded upwards..  u knw whn u lay normally on ur back legs towards u...  n i use to sleep like that... Oh it use to work wonders wiv me... Because my lil boy is lying low so he use to be on my nerves..  when i use to do tht he never liked it n use to move upwards giving me some what relief...

omg. doctor won't do anything for me either. nothing stronger than tylenol. I have arthritis in my lower back before being pregnant nd as I get farther along my back just gets worse nd worse. I'm gonna kill someone. I have on nd off days but I can never exactly pin point what causes a flare up. it definitely s.ucks though. ugggggh i hope it's not a continuous thing for the remainder of this pregnancy

Call labor & delivery. Ask them what you can do for the pain.
I had to call last night. Got told Tylenol every 4hrs...lots of water lay on left side if u get tired of it go to ur right and to take a hot bath. But no bubbles.

I hate to say it, but nothing helps me. Those are the most common suggestions, though. I'm a stay at home mom and care for my 11 month old alone most of the day. It ***** and some days I can barely walk, but I gotta do what I gotta do. Dr wont do anything for me. Maybe your doctor will, but mine def wont and I haven't had relief since I was 10 weeks into my first pregnancy.

No hot baths!!!!! Its a no no during pregnancy!!!

Try a heating pad on your back or a nice, gentle stretch. I have sciatica and pain from the upidural during my last delivery. I'm 23+5 as of midnight so I feel your pain.
