bass/loud music system in car

So I have a question, would bass from a car effect a baby if it's barely a few weeks old or maybe even days? My boyfriend has a system in his car, and I am always with him when we go out he puts his bass loud. I am just wondering is this bad for my baby? Some say it doesn't but some say it does, someone please help.

Yeah, I think that too. It's best for my baby. He hasn't put it on around me. He wanted to find out first. But well, he'll have to live without it till your baby gets here :) Too bad for him lol but thank you soo much for your help! I just want the safety for my baby (:

I would say that to be safe I would just turn it down, or shut it off.  I can't imagine a newborn liking it rather or not it is good for his ears.

some say if it's okay with my ears then it's okay with my baby's, but isn't the babies ears a lot more delicate? My boyfriend really wanted to know as a concern to, because he doesn't want nothing bad for the baby. So he really wants to make sure, so if it does effect the baby he can just take off his system while he's with me. For my safety. But I do believe what you said, I guess it depends on how loud it might be.
