being induced at 38 weeks

I'm being induced tomorrow due to high blood pressure and weight loss. Anyone else heard of this. Also wondering about induction process

I was induced also! But I was 3 cm dilated so I was able to skip a step. They normally use gel to help you dilate to 4cm or approximately that . That could take a long time, then if your water doesn't break on its own they will break it. Then from there you're left to dilate the rest of the way.  I wouldn't dilate no further than 7cm and my baby's head was too big for my pelvis so they had to do an emergency section.  Hope all is well !!!
