benzos during pregnancy

I've been on clonopin for 2 years to treat major anxiety. When I found out I was pregnant I stopped immediately to avoid complications. I saw my psychiatrist today and she put me back on it saying the benefits far out way the risks in my case. I haven't been able to work or really function in a month. The Dr is preg too so I trust her but has anyone else taken antianxiety or SSRI meds while pregnant??

Clonopin isnt supposed to be taken during pregnancy. There are other anxiety meds safer she can prescribe you. anxiety meds that are safer are ssri such as prozac zoloft and paxil tricyclic antidepressant or buspirone. Ones to be avoided benzo monoamine oxidase inhibitors or lithium

My doctor told me to avoid medicines like that. I know how ya feel. I have really bad social anxiety. I cant even go in a hospital without freaking out, and im on my second baby! But idk that's just what my doctor said.
