Yes, my daughter is almost 5 weeks and EBF, I was given the options of IUD, the mini pill, depo provera, or condoms and other OTC products

Does it has an effect on baby or breast feeding?

I was given the same options as Ktowne but my doc added that the mini pills arent too effective .. But those are the only options because anything with estrogen will effect milk supply

My son is exclusively breastfed and I have the paragard (non hormonal copper) iud. You can use the paragard or mirena iud, depo shot, nexplanon (the implant that goes in your arm), the mini pill, or condoms while breastfeeding.

I got the iud two weeks ago and have had no side effects. It's good for ten years, mirena I think is good for five.
