birth control and pregnancy

First off I'd like to start by saying, I'm not asking if I'm pregnant or not I just need some help or advice, today I start my third month on the pill however I am 8 days late, I plan to wait until next Monday to test, I was just wondering if being on the pill can cause me to not have my period? I also missed about two pills one mid month and the other at the end of the month, is it possible that could be delaying my period? If so this long?? Last night I caught myself eating pickles grapes and ham all on one plate after dinner and my boyfriend just looked at me and said are you pregnant again?? Because I was exactly like this when I was pregnant with my daughter when I was about 3-4 weeks along my appetite just boosted and that's how we knew I was pregnant, I know testing is the only way to know but I prefer to wait so I get an accurate reading. Until then, should I continue my birth control?

LB I didn't mean it in a rude way lol cuz I know the only way to tell if I'm pregnant is to take a test, I just wanted to see if its possible for my period to be late on the pill and if I should continue to take the pill, my bf told me to wait til Monday to see if I start I'm gonna take the test and see what happens, I wouldn't mind another baby I actually want another one, I was just waiting until I finished ny degree which is about a year and a half so if I am, looks like I got an early Christmas gift lol

It all hinges on if you are pregnant or not but you said you aren't asking if you are pregnant so hahaha what can we say? Hopefully you are not pregnant

I had problems with my period the first three months after starting it. They got regular again on the forth month.

Normally the pill doesn't cause you to not have a period I was put on pills before to help regulate my period so if you missed pills and didn't use a back up method and now haven't gotten your period you could be pregnant

Yes it can take a while to 'normalize' your cycle, but if the first 2 months you werent late then I would venture to guess you may be pregnant. Keep us posted & good luck!

I would test and as long as it says neg then take your pills. I got pregnant on the pill and took it an additional month not knowing and my baby is fine. But I would highly recommend testing.
