I agree, babies have fully developed by 30 weeks and there only job then is to plump up! :)

At my 31wk u/s she weighed 5lbs 3 oz. The day before I had her they said she weighed 7lb 12 oz. I had her and she was 10lb.

First, sonogram measurements are not as accurate in later pregnancy! They can be off by 1-3 lbs.

Second, each baby grows at different rates. As blueeyedtabbycat said they typically gain around 1/2 lb a week until delivery from 30 weeks on.

babies tend to put on about 1/2 a pound a week after 30 weeks. I would say about 6-7 pounds too. But U/s can be off. My little girl was measuring 5 lbs 15 ozs at 32 weeks. As scared as I am to have a huge baby, im not really putting much stock into their guess.

It's hard to say.  My daughter was measuring 4 1/2lbs during my 31 week check up and she was born at 39 weeks weighing 8lbs 9oz.  The doctor told me he figured she would be between 9 and 10 lbs, which she would have been had I gone full term.  So if I had to guess I would say about 6-7lbs, then again sometimes the u/s's can be off.
