Keep your toothbrush clean, too. Fill a glass at night with water and put an Efferdent in it, and put the toothbrush in the glass to soak, then dump it out in the morning. But the main thing is to talk to your dentist; you want to rule out an actual peridontal problem. Gums do get soft during pregnancy, but you should not be fountaining blood a lot. He or she might recommend one of the better mouth rinses, or something else. You're taking your prenatals?
I never woke up with bleeding gums, but up until I was like 26 weeks every time I would brush my teeth my mouth would pour blood. Buy yourself like 3-5 cheap SOFT tooth brushes. The soft ones will be better on your gums, and then dispose tooth brush about every 2 weeks, that will prevent infection of the gums. Brush more often as well.
its one of the pregnancy symptoms.. make sure to brush night time as well and not to eat anything after wards.. you can always speak to ur doctor or dentist :)
